i dont think as a person who understands the tree unity of GOD i have separeted the father,The Son and The Holy Spirit.... and we have to remamber the disciples of Jesus clearly said may the GRACE of the Lord Jesus Christ, the LOVE of God, and the FELLOSHIP of The Holy Spirit be with you all. This clearly shows who i am about God is not gone show us any thing different He has left His Holy Word for us to know who He is as it dont matter to you what we say i suppose your explination of mathew.3:16 is Jesus doing all the act and not The Father speeking and The Holy Hpirit desending up on Jesus it is realy not about how i put it it is about how it is according to The Word Of God. Unless we think Jesus was only playing illusion we His followers to think Him not as The Father,Son and Holy Spirit Him being God remains as one and HiM being revield as Three distinctive person matters in His work so i dont see why he would say to you it is not the way to think of Him as a Triunity

Way to go Ryan! My Christianity did not really work until I received the baptism of the Holy Spirit, then I had the revelation that Jesus was God in flesh. I was re-baptized in the name of Jesus according to the biblical model and sin was not longer an issue in my life. John 7:37 led me to an apostolic church, "from your inner most being shall flow rivers of living water." All these theologians don't now what they are missing. Dry Christianity is a thing of the past!

Hay, I am a 17 year old oneness and never started to believe in the UPC doctrine, until I received the beautiful baptism of the Holy Ghost. God, reviled to me who he is, i am not an expert on doctrine or theology, but I know that the new testament is full of believers getting baptized in the name of the Lord, Jesus Christ. They were baptized in that name. the name isn't "the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit," but the name of the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit is Jesus. We as oneness Pentecostals are not in any way denying the deity of the Lord, because He is God. That is his deity.
I am studying the Hebrew language, and that language is full of clues of who God is. The first letter of the of the Aleph-Bet is Aleph meaning, "One," implying that God is one, and God's name is El in Hebrew and that starts with that letter. Even God's name shows his oneness. If God is one in the Old Testament then why is He a Trinity in the New? There is just so much that i have felt from God and He just never showed me that He was a Trinity.
It does not matter what you say to prove the trinity, God is who He is, and that is all. (Period) I have seen Trinitarians make really great arguments and I can not refute them, but all I know is the One true God. That is deeply implanted within my heart and my sole, thanks to Him.
Something we all will agree on is that God is an awesome God and we can find salvation in Him.

God Bless!

Ty, so why would waste your time on something you find "a waste of time?"

Of course these are important issues. We are talking about the very nature of God.

Usually those who think these types of discussions are a waste of time are atheists or ill-informed Christians (who think theology is a dirty word).

I find the whole arguement a waste of time, God is one. I hold neither the badge of oneness nor trinitarian. We are to believe God is one, not argue over who explains it better. Move on! people are going to hell everyday and we argue over this.

Thanks, Fred. Didn't have the patience to read it all now, but the following quote highlights some of their motivations. First sentence in the second paragraph looks like a <em>non sequitur</em> to me.
<blockquote>This teaching says that Jesus Christ did not come to earth in the same flesh as the rest of humanity. Using Hebrews 10:5 which states that God prepared a body for Jesus, the divine flesh doctrine says that Jesus came in flesh that was heavenly, rather than in flesh like ours. An issue in question by the believers of divine flesh is how Jesus could be born of a woman without sin being imparted to Him. The question of whether or not humans are born sinful seems to be the origin of the doctrinal changes made by the divine flesh proponents in their effort to maintain Christ’s purity. Job 14:4 is used to demonstrate the view of the divine flesh doctrine: “Who can bring a clean thing out of an unclean? not one.” Hermeneutically, it is suspect to determine a doctrine based on Job, a book of poetic genre. In effort to answer the question of a sinful nature, beliefs such as docetism, gnosticism, apollinarianism, monophysitism, and the doctrine of the Trinity were born.
Proponents of the divine flesh doctrine believe that if we say that Christ is from the biological seed of the woman, then it would be true that we believe that Christ has a sinful Adamic nature, which in the sight of God would be blasphemy. Bible Writers’ Theology says, “If the word ‘seed of woman’ is the biological seed of Adam… we can dare say Jesus has a sinful nature. Since human flesh and blood is not an acceptable means of atonement for the sins of mankind, and because it cannot inherit the kingdom of God, Christ cannot possess earthly flesh at all.” Also, Gezahagne wrote that Adam and Christ had the greatest affiliation in both being “directly begotten by God.”</blockquote>

I haven't researched this "divine flesh" thing yet, but the key author is Ethiopian mega-pastor Teklemariam Gezahagne, and his key book is "Bible Writers’ Theology." You can get a report on it by one UPCI author at http://www.ugst.org/symposium02.htm, download paper #11 by Vonelle Kelly.

Dale, thanks for doing this important work right out here in public where everybody can watch or even join in. And of course I'm honored that one of my articles got attention and analysis from you. As for the comics, don't pay a high price for them. They should be available at normal cost from this site: http://www.christianity101online.com/Purchase.html#DR
