Want to contribute?

ContributeThe trinties blog is looking for regular contributors. Are you up for it?

The goal of this blog is to do and to promote analytic theology, in ways which are “accessible” to many.

Subjects include Trinity, Incarnation, atonement, divine attributes, monotheism and polytheism, theories of divine providence, arguments for God’s existence, arguments for atheism, competing conceptions of God, Christian vs. other understandings of God, theories about religious diversity, natural theology, religious tolerance, religious freedom, biblical studies, and biblical and systematic theology.

The editorial stance of trinities is analytic and Christian, though we’re happy to include non-Christians, as they engage with topics Christians care about. There is no required “statement of faith” for contributors. We do require an approach to these topics which is “analytic,” roughly, concerned with careful analysis and argument and aimed at truth, and not merely at historical investigation, theological polemics, culture war salvos, or edifying reflections. Subject-matter can be biblical, or historical theology, or systematic theology – not only philosophy of religion.

Requirements for contributors:

  • One published article (not a book review) in analytic theology (broadly construed) from one of the following journals, OR such a publication from a respected, peer-reviewed general interest philosophy journal OR a chapter in a relevant book OR a relevant book. Most likely, you have have or be working on a PhD in philosophy, theology, or religious studies – although this is not an additional requirement.
    • European Journal for Philosophy of Religion
    • Faith and Philosophy
    • International Journal for Philosophy of Religion
    • Journal of Analytic Theology
    • Philosophia Christi
    • Religious Studies

  • You must make a blog post at least three times a year: once each semester (Sept – Dec, Jan – May) and once in the summer. (June – Aug).

If you want to be a contributor, please email the editor of the trinities blog, Dr. Dale Tuggy, and include your c.v. and a copy of your relevant publication.
