Are you up for it?<\/p>\n<p><strong>The goal<\/strong> of this blog is to do and to promote analytic theology, in ways which are &#8220;accessible&#8221; to many.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Subjects include<\/strong> Trinity, Incarnation, atonement, divine attributes, monotheism and polytheism, theories of divine providence, arguments for God&#8217;s existence, arguments for atheism, competing conceptions of God, Christian vs. other understandings of God, theories about religious diversity, natural theology, religious tolerance, religious freedom, biblical studies, and biblical and systematic theology.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The editorial stance<\/strong> of trinities is analytic and Christian, though we&#8217;re happy to include non-Christians, as they engage with topics Christians care about. There is no required &#8220;statement of faith&#8221; for contributors. We do require an approach to these topics which is &#8220;<strong>analytic<\/strong>,&#8221; roughly, concerned with careful analysis and argument and aimed at truth, and not <em>merely<\/em> at historical investigation, theological polemics, culture war salvos, or edifying reflections. Subject-matter can be biblical, or historical theology, or systematic theology &#8211; not only philosophy of religion.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements for contributors:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>One published article<\/strong> (not a book review)\u00a0in analytic theology (broadly construed) from one of the following journals, OR\u00a0such a publication from a respected, peer-reviewed general interest philosophy journal OR a chapter in a relevant book OR a relevant book. Most likely, you have have or be working on a PhD in philosophy, theology, or religious studies &#8211; although this is not an additional requirement.\n<ul>\n<li><em>European Journal for Philosophy of Religion<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Faith and Philosophy<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>International Journal for Philosophy of Religion<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Journal of Analytic Theology<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Philosophia Christi<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Religious Studies<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Sophia<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>You must make a blog post at least\u00a0<strong>three times a year: <\/strong>once each semester (Sept &#8211; Dec, Jan &#8211; May) and once in the summer.
