(As <a title=\"prosblogion\" href=\"http:\/\/prosblogion.ektopos.com\/\">this blog<\/a> is, as well as <a target=\"_blank\" title=\"left2right\" href=\"http:\/\/left2right.typepad.com\/\">this one<\/a>.) I hope so! Specifically, I hope that the following factors can minimize the problems Jacobs discusses:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>posting at a decent pace (no Instapundit-like continuous flow)<\/li>\n<li>leaving the comments open<\/li>\n<li>occasional weeding out of comments posted by meatheads<\/li>\n<li>maintaining an atmosphere of respect<\/li>\n<li>narrow focus<\/li>\n<li>soliciting comments and guest-postings from other philosophers &#038; theologians who work on this topic<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>As I&#8217;m new at this, any other suggestions from veteran bloggers would be appreciated.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In this recent piece in Books &#038; Culture, I think Prof. Jacobs makes a lot of excellent points.
