I wrote <strong>a long piece<\/strong> and sent it to <em>Religious Studies<\/em>, who had published my original article and one of Hasker&#8217;s replies. They generously agreed to take it &#8211; it seems, they&#8217;d about had a belly full of social Trinity discussions &#8211; but only on the condition that I cut it <em>way <\/em>back. So I\u00a0 took out the axe and<strong> hacked off 2\/3 of it<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>I hope to use some of this other material elsewhere &#8211; it gets into some really interesting early modern material, tries to further negotiate the divide between Hasker and I, and delves more into the issue of defining monotheism.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"My reply to Hasker - forthcoming in Religious Studies, March 2011\" href=\"http:\/\/trinities.org\/dale\/HaskerReply.pdf\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>My reply<\/strong><\/a>, then, is short and <span style=\"text-decoration: line-through;\">sweet<\/span> tart. I stick pretty closely to Hasker&#8217;s arguments.<\/p>\n<p>My <strong>thanks to Bill<\/strong> for a lot of very helpful correspondence, on this, and on other papers we&#8217;ve (separately) written.
