These include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>How did <strong>the term &#8220;God&#8221;<\/strong> change from referring to the Father (and occasionally to the Son) to referring to the tripersonal deity\u00a0postulated by trinitarian theologies?<\/li>\n<li>If salvation is the deification of believers, then <strong>why aren&#8217;t believers too <em>homoousios<\/em><\/strong> with the Father, like Jesus (according to post-325 catholic theology).<\/li>\n<li>What would be the point or points of God allowing the sorts of <strong>evils<\/strong> we see in our world?<\/li>\n<li>Did God give Jesus the divine quality <em>life<\/em>? (John 5)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>And what should we say about <strong>this argument<\/strong>?<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>God is Father, Son, Spirit<\/li>\n<li>Jesus is [fully] God<\/li>\n<li>Therefore, Jesus is [fully] Father, Son, Spirit.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>I suggest that this argument is <strong>most interesting<\/strong> when interpreted in this way:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>God = the Trinity<\/li>\n<li>Jesus = God<\/li>\n<li>Therefore, Jesus = the Trinity.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>I say this last argument is unsound&#8230; but <strong>what do <em>you<\/em> say?<\/strong> If it&#8217;s not sound, how exactly does this argument go wrong? (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.iep.utm.edu\/val-snd\/\" target=\"_blank\">Hint: it is undeniably valid.
