In this overview, Dr. Alvan Lamson, former instructor of theology at Harvard and longtime pastor of such a church in Massachusetts, outlines the<strong> beliefs, history, and (then) reasonably current statistics<\/strong> on the group.<\/p>\n<p>As you&#8217;ll hear, in some ways this branch of Christianity is <strong>similar to current-day biblical unitarian groups<\/strong>. But there are some important differences as well. And while Lamson is sunny on this group&#8217;s prospects, looking back, I think we can see some of the\u00a0<strong>factors in place, in and around\u00a0the group, that led to its demise<\/strong>. I&#8217;ll comment on those next week, as I&#8217;ve never seen anyone give a really helpful post-mortem report on what lead to the death of this Christian movement.<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s the original &#8220;<strong>Analysis<\/strong> of the Ensuing Article&#8221;
