But not everyone likes debates, or thinks they are overall helpful or important. In this episode you&#8217;ll hear my brief, informal talk at <a href=\"https:\/\/convergefest.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Converge (opens in a new tab)\">Converge<\/a> about debating theology, with some of the Q&amp;A that followed. I address questions including: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Are debates just an example of ungodly strife or harmful quarreling?<\/li><li>Are debates important? If so, <em>who <\/em>do they help?<\/li><li>Is there any scriptural precedent for debating theological questions?<\/li><li>Debates never change anyone&#8217;s mind, right?
