He offers a unique, but to us surprisingly contemporary rational reconstruction of the claims in the &#8220;<a title=\"podcast episode 2\" href=\"http:\/\/trinities.org\/blog\/archives\/4892\" target=\"_blank\">Athanasian Creed<\/a>.&#8221;\u00a0Did he convince his fellow Anglicans that the &#8220;Athanasian Creed&#8221; is, after all, self-consistent?<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;ll also look briefly at a sort of defense of the &#8220;Athanasian Creed&#8221; by minister, apologist, and patristic scholar <strong>Daniel Waterland<\/strong> (\u00a01683 &#8211; 1740).
