Jesus, <a title=\"Jesus was not a Trinitarian\" href=\"http:\/\/astore.amazon.com\/trinities-20\/detail\/0967324971\" target=\"_blank\">Sir Anthony has argued<\/a>, was not a trinitarian, and we, as his disciples, shouldn&#8217;t be either. He suggests that <strong><em>the<\/em> apostle&#8217;s (Jesus&#8217;) creed<\/strong> should be ours.<\/p>\n<p>Another mistake:\u00a0the widespread unwillingness by conservative, and especially Protestant Christians to <strong>think critically<\/strong> about trinitarian traditions, and specifically the 4th c. catholic consensus I discussed with Dr. Holmes in <a title=\"episode 42 - interview with Dr. Stephen Holmes\" href=\"http:\/\/trinities.org\/blog\/archives\/6272\" target=\"_blank\">episode 42<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, how could <strong>divine providence<\/strong> allow The Church to go so wrong, for so long, on such a central matter as the doctrine of God?<\/p>\n<p>And if unitarian theology is true, then\u00a0why 19th century unitarianism fail, morphing into a non-Christian movement.
