In other Craig- and youtube-related news, this semester my class and I watched and analyzed Craig’s recent (Oct 2011) debate with Peter Millican of Oxford. While not without problems on both sides, I think it may be the best atheist-theist debate I’ve seen.

I would say, despite his dodgy moral argument, that Craig did better. (I say dodgy because I think he needs to show there to be a contradiction between naturalism and moral realism, but he does not do that. Also, I’m unclear on just what sort of moral theory he means to commit too – something in the area of divine command theory, but it is not clear.) But view it and see what you think.

So, 3-1. Not too shabby, Answer Man!
