To her surprise (but not to mine), “the doctrine of the Trinity” isn’t exactly a usual topic of discussion there. But she did eventually have to face up to their catholic language in the very first sentence of their Statement of Faith.
Folks, I know this may seem presumptuous, but I would suggest a small edit to that first sentence in light of Scripture: “We believe in one God, Creator and Lord of the Universe, the co-eternal Trinity: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
