This special episode of the trinities podcast is the first presentation in a one-day, international workshop on God and Time, held on August 12, 2017 at the University of Bonn, Germany. It was sponsored by the Society for the Philosophy of Time (a.k.a. SPoT) and the Templeton Foundation. Thanks to Dr. Ryan Mullins, we have the audio from this meeting.

In this episode Florian Fischer, a PhD student at the University of Bonn, gets things started with a survey of recent philosophical discussions of that thing we’re all familiar with, but which is so hard to understand: time. His topics include:

• presentist vs. eternalist vs. growing-block-ist theories about time (or about the occupants of time)
• endurantism vs. perdurantism about how objects last through time
• tensers vs. detensers about temporal language
